Abstract

At Indonesia, cases of residential house fires are still rampant. This resulted in considerable losses for the population of Indonesia. If there is no prevention or countermeasure, it is possible that the danger of a house fires will continue. Therefore, this system exists to create a condition where the system is able to detect the potential that will bring a fire hazard. In this system using a method that is the application of a multisensory system in detecting the presence of fire, smoke and temperature in the room. The sensors used include KY-026 fire sensor, MQ-9 smoke sensor and DS18B20 temperature sensor. Then the system also implements an intelligent system that is fuzzy logic to process sensor reading data. The three sensor inputs will be processed through the fuzzification stage, rule evaluation and the deffuzification. The output of this system is in the form of firm values, namely the values 1 to 5 from the results of the multisensory defuzzification in each module. So the error of the defuzzification average is 0.99% after being compared with the MATLAB output. This system is expected to be able to provide early warning of the threat of fire, reduce the risk of casualties, and be able to be implemented to a wider scale or scope.

Abstract

Labor scheduling is the allocation of human resources to the work stations according to the needs. To increase productivity the company must schedule the labor optimally. PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. Makassar Unit is one of company that produces the animal feed with a capacity of 4 tons in a day that located on Jalan Ir. Sutami KM 17 PO BOX Makassar. In workers allocating, the company implements labor scheduling with 3 work shifts and 1 day off in 1 week in the production section. Human resources are very important to notice. Therefore, to increase the productivity of the company so it's need for additional day off for each part of the labor production. To accommodate 3 work shifts in a day and 2 days off in 1 week, this research used a modified of tibrewala, philippe and browne algorithm method. Modification of this algorithm changes and adds from 3 steps to 5 steps and changes the tabular table format for scheduling workers for three shifts. Labor Scheduling with 5 working days and 2 days off needs of 20 people of labor in the hand add process, 36 people in the bagging process, 7 people in the panel process and 7 people in the press process. The excess of labor that occurred was 9 man days (equivalent to 5.6 people) in the hand add process, 36 man days (equivalent to 7.2 people in the bagging process, 17 man-days (equivalent to 3.4 people) on the panel process and 17 man-days (equivalent to 3.4 people) in the press process. The excess of the labor can be utilized when the labor is not going to work because of illness, permission or leave. This scheduling is expected to be able to keep the health and safety of the labor so that it can be optimal to work to increase the productivity of the company.

Abstract

PT Sinar Gowa Industri is a company established in 2005, engaged in the food industry (noodles). The cessation of a production process is often caused by a problem in the production machine, for example, the engine stops suddenly, decreases the speed of production, the length of time setup and adjustments, the machine produces a defective product. TPM develops from a traditional maintenance system that involves all departments and all people to participate in and develop responsibilities in the maintenance of machinery / equipment. Steps to prevent or overcome the problem in business. Increasing production efficiency is done by using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method as a tool used to measure and determine the performance of machines / equipment. The results and analysis carried out by the OEE method on machines at PT. Sinar Gowa Industries studied were mixing machines, pressing machines, sitting machines, and steaming machines. It was concluded that the most effective and efficient machine in the production process was mixing machines and pressing machines, because it had an overall equity effectiveness value of 83.8 percent followed by a sitting machine that had a value of 53.29 percent and the last was seating machines with a value of 54, 89 percent.

Abstract

I Efforts to determine the level of workload provided to employees is by measuring and evaluating the extent of the workload felt by employees. The higher the workload borne by employees, the higher the pressure, responsibility and targets that must be met by employees. Therefore, this study aims to measure the level of workload on the reclamer stacker Operator in the coal handling section of the Cilacap power plant for 3 work shifts, night, morning and evening shifts. In the process of measuring workload using a set of research questionnaires, 4 variables from the Defense Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) method become the approach or basis for this research. The 4 variables are Input Demand, Central Demand, Output Demand and Time Pressure. Each of these variables represents the work performed by the reclamer stacker Operator. The results showed that for the three work shifts included in the category of overload with the acquisition of an average value of 73% or greater than 60% ( 60%). The level of complexity of work and work activities under pressure can cause workloads to be high which can ultimately lead to work accidents. In addition, from the results of the workload assessment using the DRAWS method, the highest value is found in the Central Demand (CD) variable, which is 80.5%. This means that the Operator feels the work activity on the variable CD is greater when compared to the work activity on other variables
